[Bartolomeus] Credo in Spiritum Sanctum, [Mattheus] sanctam Ecclesiam catholicam, sanctorum communionem, [Simon] remissionem peccatorum, [Judas Thaddeus] carnis resurrectionem, [Matthias] et vitam eternam. Amen. But Jesus passing through the midst of them... [Peter] I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: [Andrew] And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, [James] Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary, [John] Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, dead, and buried; [Thomas] He descended into hell [Hades]; the third day He rose again from the dead; [James the less] He ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; [Philip] From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. [Bartholomew] I believe in the Holy Ghost; [Matthew] The Holy Catholic Church; The communion of saints; [Simon] The forgiveness of sins; [Judas Thaddeus] The resurrection of the body; [Matthias] And the life everlasting. Amen.

about

The world première recordings of Gavin Bryars’s new choral arrangement of his epochal minimalist work inspired by the singing of a homeless person, Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet, presented in its 50th anniversary year alongside an extended postmodern version of the legendary 13-part canon from the early Renaissance Eton Choirbook, Jesus autem transiens, composed by The Song Company’s Artistic Director, Antony Pitts on a road trip into the heart of Australia. The Song Company and collaborating ensembles recorded this moving program during lockdown in bedrooms and kitchens across Australia.
